The 3rd term evaluation

The last term has finished so this will be my last entry... In this term we have done a lot of thing like: radio programme, an oral presentation, political analysis, questionnaires, kahoots... I think that I have worked a lot and I also have learned a lot of things.  So now it is time to enjoy the summer!!!!!!!

TRAVEL MARKETING

This time we have to choose a city from Europe to present it in class. We have chosen Hamburg which is the city where some students of Luberri are going.
I was inthe group of Jone and Garazi and my part was to tell the people what can they do in a normal day in Hamburg: visit the Town hall, Deichtrasse street...

This time we have been working about how to record and edit an audio. That's the reason why we are recording an audio about our favourite band and about one of their songs. The singer I've chosen is James Arthur and I'm going to talk about their song called "Say you won't let go."

ART OR SCIENCES

This time we had to record a speech on pros and cons about the Art an Science issue.

The ideas:

- When we were a child we use arts more than science but now we give more importance to science.

- Sciences are more difficult, more practical

-In arts they have to study more but then normally they have better marks

-Give the same importance to both of them.

WOMEN AND SCIENCE

To celebrate the 8th of March we are doing some special activities. For example, this week we have gone to the university area to ask some teachers or students about the place of women in their sorrounding. We have been lucky and a student and two teachers (a man and a woman) have let as to record the interview.
Apart from that,we have made a very impressive and unique poster using CANVA, an application to make posters.
Unlike the other one's posters, we have included the audios on the poster. So, if you want to listen to them, you only have to push in the persons which are in the poster.

This time, we had to do a drawing related to human rights. The teacher gave me the article 21, which is: The right to democracy.

SECOND TERM EVALUATION

The second term has finished and doing an evaluation about it I have to say that I have found this term more interesting than the first one because we have done a lot of things, like a video about our culture, a video of a song... I have tried my best and I'm looking forward the 3rd term with a lot of enthusiasm!!

This time we have to do a comic about a story of a boy and a fish:

FILM The impossible

The Impossible is a 2012 disaster drama film directed by J. A. Bayona and written by Sergio G. Sánchez. It is based on the experience of María Belón and her family in the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami. The cast includes Naomi Watts, Ewan McGregor and Tom Holland.
The film received positive reviews from critics for its direction and its acting, especially for Watts who was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actress, the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress – Motion Picture Drama, and a Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role. 

 Maria Bennett (Naomi Watts), her husband Henry Bennett (Ewan McGregor), and their three sons Lucas (Tom Holland), Thomas (Samuel Joslin), and Simon (Oaklee Pendergast) go on a Christmas holiday in 2004 to Khao Lak, Thailand. Arriving on Christmas Eve, they settle in and begin to enjoy the brand new Orchid Beach Resort. Two days later on Boxing Day, the massive 2004 tsunami inundates the area.

I have chosen this film because I like adventure films and this film includes lots of suspense, like in the final scene when all the family reunited. This is a scene that you don't think will happen so there is a plot twist. I also like how the camera records  all the details to give more reality as for example in the scene when Maria, the mum of the boys, is in the water and she is being hit by all the things that are in the water (braches, cars...).

I think that with this film you can learn a lot of things like; helping other people,being generous...but what you specially learn from it is that all can happen and that nothing can be impossiblle as the film shows.

 

SONG VIDEO

This time Jone and me have made a video of the song PARADISE which is done by the basque singer called IZARO ANDRES.

Is a romantic song and it can be interpreted in a wide range of ways. For example; the love between two persons or the love to a city (in our case, Donostia).

The lyric of the song tells us that the singer needs the hot and warm weather of California so we thounght to record the waves and the views of Donostia.

HERITAGE SHOOTING

This time the teacher asked us to make a video during the christmas holdays about our culture. My group and I have decided to focus on a traditional festive day of our city: "Santo Tomas". We've tried to show the traditions and habitual things that we do on that day such as visit the animals and eat our special food called "talo". But the most special thing we do this day is dress up as the old basque people; here an example:
