END OF THE FIRST TERM

I think that in this term I have learned a lot because we have done a lot of different project such as: photographers presentations, games about languages, lettering... Before we started the term I thought that in this subject we will center in one project but finally we have done more than one. In my opinion, in the next term we should stay more days at the computers room in stead of staying in class because I think that in the computers room we do more work. I think that It will be a good idea to do theatre or a singing context!

EUROPEAN DAY OF THE LANGUAGES

I have done two activities to celebrate The European Day of languages:

Yesterday I played a game in French class. This game consisted in doing two groups, in one group there were the classmates of eleanitza and in the other group the classmates of French class. Each group had some questions about places, languages and other cultures to ask to the other group.  We had  a very good time and we learned a lot about other places.

We have also spoken with the germans in the English class. We asked them a lot of questions about their trip to Donostia for example what have they enjoyed about Donostia, what have they done... They were very lovely people and we enjoyed a lot!!

PLANNING THE EUROPEAN DAY OF LANGUAGES : THE INTRODUCTION

We are celbrating The European day of languages in our school,so now we are going to explain what we know about this day:

The European day of languages takes place on 26th of September each year. It is organised by the council of Europe and the European Union. A lot of countries celebrate this day, being precise,45 countries.  The objectives of this celebration are to alert the public to the importance of language learning because even if you don't belive it the languages are very important to contact with people, another objective is to promote the cultural diversity.

Like we said before, the European day of languages is celebrated on 26th of September. To celebrate this spectacular and lovely day, we have decided to do a funny game in our school.

THE GAME:

- First, we are going to make a stage in the playground

-Then, we are going to invite students to sing their favourite song but in a different language. For  that, we are going to give them the lyrics of the song they have chosen.

We think it is a very funny idea and that lots of people will have a good time!

ANOTHER GAME:

We were planing to do the game of pasapalabra but we haven't have time to do it. We did some questions related to the languages and we wanted to asked the questions to the students of 2DBH.

THE VIDEO FOR THE EUROPEAN DAY OF LANGUAGES

Apart from the game, we also want to film a video where we show monuments, sculptures, palaces, bridges... from all the world. But unfortunately, we can't go abroad to take pictures of those things. Then, we propose to film, for example, the church of Antiguo and let it know like The Big Ben of London. That is the way we want show to the viewers the extraordinary places we all have around the world.

THE LOGO OF THE T-SHIRT:

This week we have been working on a logo that has to be related with the languages. With this logo we try to transmit that we have a lot of languages in our world.

THE RECREATION OF A PHOTO OF CARTIER BRESSON

In this picture we can see a child waiting to have her breakfast. We can imagine that it is her breskfast because of the cup of milk.

I think that with tis picture Cartier Bresson wanted to reflect the realism like in his other photos. But in this photo we can see a difference: he wanted to reflect the poverty as we can see in the old clothes, in the dirty face of the child...
We can also see the movement of the milk. In my opinion Cartier Bresson wanted to give importance to the cup of milk with a white light because it is the only thing that makes the child happy. This is what we can see in the foreground of the photo. However, in the background, we can see that there is more people waiting to their breakfast in the queue because we can see their shadows.

This is the photo that I recreated. The child that appears in this photo is my cousin and at first I thought that It will be easy to do it but in the end It was a little bit difficult because I was telling to my cousin that she had to watch to the milk and not to the camera. In this picture the background it is difference from the other one.

PRESENTATION: CARTIER BRESSON

This week we have been working on a presentation of a famous photographer whose name is Cartier Bresson. Although we had to do a lot of work to recreate his photos, we had a very good time. We try our best to take similar pictures by using the same clothes, going to similar places (antiguo, the old part...). This is the result of this work:
